Yep.. yesterday i spotted I'd dropped a stitch wayyy back on row6 😤

Third time's a charm, though. Right?!
It better be cos I wanna do other projects!

Caturday weekly roundup
0 nas-puddles. 3weeks running?! Must be due then lol
Only 1 brief brushing this week too.

Seem to have upset Bijous tummy with some dried chicken treats. But she's fine otherwise ans loving chasing Grey Mousie II about at all hours!

Bijou, my ginger and tabby cat is lounging on my thigh. Shes resting her chin just above my knee and has a front arm draped over my leg.
She was so comfy and chilled.

Bijou sat upright on a grey rub. There are cobwebs just visible in her eyebrows and whiskers on the left side of her face.
I like to think she was getting an early start on Halloween decorating!

Nas, my spotty tabby cat, looking out from between a purple pair of curtains.
We can see through the gap that it's dark out so she was likely waiting for me to settle into bed so she could get her tummy rubs

This box is in the kitchen, and it's her safe space away from the bedroom. She's not fussed about boxes in general, but she'll hop into this one and happily ask for and accept a fussing.

Friendly reminder: count your stitches after a decrease (or increase) row.

This is 30+ rows of a sleeve cos I missed my decreases after picking up!

Whilst 2 extra sts isn't that big a deal, over the length of the sleeve, it's 2.5rows worth of yarn & I may want that for extra length!

A raggedy pile of blue grey, slightly fluffy, yarn that's just been undone due to a mistake 30something rows ago that left me with too many stitches.
Im far too economical with my yarn to allow it!!
Two stitches isn't much extra width, but it's using up yarn that I may need to legthen the sleeves to fit.

So.. here we go again!

20 rows of sleeve 2 done. Quarter of the way there.
Sleeve 1 isnt bound off yet in case I need them longer & have enough yarn to do so.

I'm not loving top down seamless construction. More of a faff than separate pieces and missing the structure seams provide.

Norwegian ftw tho

Caturday weekly roundup
0 nas-puddles, 2 brushings. And a wet food she's refusing to eat; typically, an anti hairball one.

Bijou's sat on my lap a couple of times this week! Not for long at a time, but I'll still take it. Her tummy is settling, and she's still snacking on bugs!

Proof! Bijou sat on my lap!
She's almost loafed across my lap but is glaring up at the camera.

She did actually settle in for a few minutes, then hopped off to eat some more food.

Bijou stood in the corner of the bath, her front paws up on the edge, and she's looking for the crane fly / daddy long legs that's on the wall just by her right shoulder.

Nas is all cosy in her snuggly bed with its cream fleecey inner (we dont tell her it's sold as a dog bed).
She's kinda pretzelled with 3 feet and her tail all curled into her middle, but one front paw stretched out.

Nas, again, curled up and cosy. But this time, she's on a teal armchair and between two cushions, one grey and one teal. She could infact be a cushion?!

Hah!!
Tired + grumpy + slippy, heavy dpns = recipe for disaster!

Magic loop on a long circ fared no better.

Was tempted to rip the sleeve fully and work it flat instead.
Opted to retry the shorter circ, and am making that work. But they're *just* too long to be smooth and speedy.

Must be the weather changing. I am soooo tired and fed up with everything atm.

So I'm going to spend my evening with the tv on in the background and plug away at a sleeve!
Good opportunity to practice working norwegian style on dpns. Find the rhythm and should fly through. Hopefully..

Caturday weekly roundup
0 nas puddles, and a couple of brushings done.
Bijou's tummy is recovering, having switched the dry food back. Also got to clip her toes so she can paw at me without scratching.

Nas, my spotty tabby cat, on the armrest of a chair. Only her front half is visible and she's looking towards the camera. Gardening paraphernalia somewhat visible on shelving behind her.
She has a tiny leaf stuck in her fur at the back of her head.

Bijou, my ginger and tabby cat, loafed on the bed and looking directly into the camera. She's wondering if I'm about to get up to feed her.

Bijou mid-pounce as she attacks Grey Mousie the 2nd. Shes launched herself between the coffee table leg and Sproing (a large spring made to look like a snake)

Nas being all cute and almost in otter mode while she gets tummy rubs one evening this week. Her front paws dangling over my hand, and her head is mostly upside-down looks beyond the camera.

Ooh, is #sewandtell still patchwork?!
Found a jellyroll in some long stashed bits & pieces
Gonna do a quick job with them: stitch all the strips together as they appear. Then recut and offset by a square. Ultimately make some cat blankets bacled with some left over fleece.

Six strips of fabric, predominantly red, orange & purple at the top of the picture
The rest of the strips are piled up at the bottom.

Have split sleeves from body.
And switched back down to the 40cm circs cos its easier with how light and squishy the fabric is.

Partially knitted blue grey sweater, photo oriented with the neckline at the top today.
The sleeve stitches are held on waste yarn, and the body is gathered up on a short circular needle.

Just over halfway down the yoke. Guage is almost right; a little blocking will get it perfect.
This is my 2nd top-down sweater, and I'm still convinced the neckline is too small... trust the process, I guess? Just looks wrong compared to working flat!

Weekly #caturday roundup
1 nas-puddle and a couple of brushings done this week.
Neither cat is much liking the new dry food. Nas basically isn't eating it, while Bijou happily eats it but makes an absolute mess in the litter tray 🤢 will be reverting to something safer tomorrow.

Nas, sat on the top of a small two tier cat tree, peering over the edge at a toy mouse lying upside down on the floor.

Bijou is sat on the edge of the rug at the base of the cat tree, readying to pounce again at the mousie

Nas sat at the top of the staircase mid meow.

Bijou sat on the bed, a front paw reached out to swipe at Nas' tail. The rest of Nas is out of shot.
