I'm making a short film composed of lots of 20-second clips of different people reading the same line of text: a series of brief instalments.

If you would like to be involved - it will be fun, and maybe interesting, and easy (you film on a phone) - please DM me (and/or repost).

Thank you!

Okay. I’ve managed to flip the document and the words “hath” and “upon” now ping out. Any other thoughts?

Who can I write to to ask some questions about a book in the Beinecke? There’s a digital surrogate but I have some outstanding queries about the binding!

Yes @jdsargan.bsky.social was involved in a project in Toronto. Think it might have been a collaboration with the dentistry school to use their tech? Or maybe I’m completely misremembering. This is Yale Eliz club 175 (Q1 HV) btw

Realise there’s. It much to go on here, but what do we think about this vellum wrapper? Recycled indenture?

Niche plea: does anyone have images of the binding, including pastedowns and endleaves of University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IUB00496? It’s a Sammelband of 10 plays, including several by Shakespeare, all printed before 1665?

Daybook stuff just shout as I have it mostly transcribed. I also have some examples of Arabic books sold second hand, which I’ll dig out and send to you. Thanks for all your work putting together an impeccable conference!

What a brilliant day! Loved speaking to this room of great minds about duplicate books in the early Bodleian.

It’s driving me mad! Things I know are there, are no longer there. Reminds me of using the BL catalogue (even before the attack)
