"Move fast and break things" is great when you're building a social app. It should NEVER apply to Spaceflight, Healthcare, or Government.

If I say “creating a record during a public meeting, on live-stream, then destroying it or denying it exists seems illegal” know that means the FO stage is nigh.

If you have a cause you feel passionate about-do not entwine yourself with morons as support. You are judged by your company and advocates. Make sure they have some snap!

If you serve an elected collective; a commission, council, etc, learn how boards work. If a community board officially takes a stance on an issue you are deciding, do not demand a poll of each board member! That’s-stupid, and ignores how all collectives work-including yours. Also-stupid.

As a 1st grader my mom lied about where we lived so I would not go to school with the kids from el campo (the labor camp). My husband has now managed el campo for almost 18 years. Today she joined the fb page for people who grew up there. No clue why-but she had better freaking behave herself!

84 year old mom said Covid was the flu. Spent 47 days in ICU w Covid Dec 20/Jan 21 and 4 weeks in rehab. Today refused her Covid and flu vaccines at assisted living. 🤦🏻‍♀️🇺🇸🤦🏻‍♀️

I caution everyone to keep an eye on their local public processes. Steward the integrity of the processes. Learn how it works. Those who sow disruption are hard at it. Support your council/trustees/etc. Encourage them to pursue civil discourse and rein in disruption.
