Really, really wish way more 🇺🇸s — including / esp 🇺🇸 lefties would learn some basics re: other countries do universal health ins coverage, rather than fixating on single-payer / MFA — they might realize how massive a move Obama’a ACA made toward a universal coverage system similar to many in 🇪🇺!

LOT of confusion on this thread, like so many where 🇺🇸s from across the pol spectrum try to discuss health care, so many ppl don’t understand the rest of the 1st world has universal health INSURANCE COVERAGE mandated but do NOT have fully universal / nationalized HEALTH CARE like 🇨🇦/🇬🇧, EG: most of 🇪🇺

I assume that given that there were tens of 1,000s of ppl attending the concert and an internationally famous band performing, they just didn’t think a camera would suddenly spotlight *them* — while accompanied by Mr. Chris Martin’s love commentary about them possibly “having an affair”!! 🤪

Honestly, I think it’s sorta constructive hubris — whenever any band or cultural phenomenon gets TOO massive, there’s often an assumption that they can’t possibly have earned that level of acclaim and so deserve to be humbled (even if the artists themselves are not actually personally arrogant)
