I’m not saying either of these things are possible today. They’re not. I’m saying, what would happen if we *acted like they were?* Would that change how possible they are in the future? And isn’t it worth trying?

Why should anyone act like, say, DC statehood or single-payer health care is impossible when Trump is floating the idea of annexing a foreign country and people are taking it seriously? Why consider anything off the table? It’s shoot for the moon time.
