My ten year old son came to tell me the latest from the world of Roblox (just to brighten my morning), excitedly told me his school friend Rose had been playing on the same game as him. He said she used to be called Hunter but now she’s Rose, and then asked for some crisps.

The kids are alright.

A visit to the ballet last night, in my hometown. Feels a bit like this time five years ago when we were all carrying on as normal, but nervous and expectant for what was surely to hit us soon.

When the US market crashes, we lag behind, but we will all feel the global impact soon.

@bsky.app do you have plans for a BlueBook app in the pipelines? I so desperately want to leave all Meta apps, but I want to take my friends with me.

Another donation done! I don’t feel patriotic often, but something about all the people around me giving their blood for strangers gets me every time.

A blood transfusion started the journey to save my son’s life, and as long as I’m able I’ll continue to say a prayer of thanks at this NHS altar.

Tesco could afford to give every single one of their 12m customers £100 for Christmas and their profits would still be higher than 2 years ago.

That's because that is how much extra they are stealing off you.

You know I don’t like to be an alarmist or fear-monger but guys I’m seeing some undeniable signs that the floor may be lava. Be safe.

Radish joy! Im constantly looking for the fiery crunch and being disappointed by wussy cotton wool. But these arrived in our veg box from a local market garden, and not only do they have decent poke, they are also beautiful.

The first time I’ve experienced an alert by the government since the system was introduced. I can see it actually being useful, even if it feels a bit Big Brother..

I am thankful for a social media site that’s not run by disinformation-pushing maniacal billionaire, not controlled by an algorithm design to censor news and much-needed debate, and not overrun by mean-spirited people who encourage and celebrate ignorance. Thankful, indeed.

Any ideas how to configure my wireless printer onto a new network without throwing the whole thing out the window and starting again?

No I don’t have an Ethernet cable or a laptop, no I’m not at all techie. Explain it as you would to a 52 year old woman who lacks patience for this sort of crap.

I think I might just make one of these and read for the day. If the three kids, one dog, two cats and all the Saturday jobs could all just entertain themselves that’d be great.

Celebrating the life of an old family friend tomorrow. He made life with him into a wild adventure and I am so grateful.

This photo sums it up better than I ever could. Halfway down Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa in 1980 in our pants.
