FYI for those who are super hesitant to try something until they've got some kind of guarantee that "it will work"...

None of that can happen without an engaged electorate.

You know: democracy as participation sport.

The corruption of the populace is in thinking you can offload that duty to protestors & politicians.

I once had to sit through a meeting with my boss & coworkers listening to an external vendor try to sell the department on a SaaS product that would automate one of the most satisfying parts of my job & I damn near lost my shit. Working for corporations felt like an ongoing moral injury. I can't.
