Good news, after all the back and forth they gave me almost 100% refund (I’d have been fine with all but one month refunded).

I just lost a large chunk of my grocery budget and I live on disability as it is. I am so sorry for the hardship you are facing and wish I had the resources to help. When I can spare a few dollars I give it to the world kitchen folks who are feeding as many as they can.

That story by Naomi Kritzer, The Year Without Sunshine, in Uncanny Magazine, is set in Minneapolis and provides an example of how neighborhoods can work together to share resources and help each other survive and even thrive.

It’s available online, I highly recommend it.
