Anti-homeless sentiment is so ubiquitous across the political spectrum that it's become a jump scare. I can't tell you how many times someone whose politics seemed very good has just out of nowhere said something about people sleeping on the sidewalk that's indistinguishable from Fox News sludge.

hatred of unhoused people is genuinely a pipeline to fascism. if the wealthy can get you to dehumanize your own neighbors, then they can get you to do it to anyone.

man I’m sorry to be all corny here but when I see a “the city is beautiful! There’s more to it than homeless people!” I gotta say you know who’s also beautiful? People who have no place to live & are trying to get by in a system that has turned its back on them & if you don’t see that that’s on you

In a democracy, we are supposed to feel like we have control over our lives because the people control the government.

But in the U.S., people feel like our lives are out of control because the people don’t control the federal government.

The CHILDREN?

"There was very much a class aspect to this.

A lot of the YOUNG GIRLS came from broken homes and poor backgrounds.

Some of them had been abused in their own families.

CHILDREN WERE VIEWED, BASICALLY, AS OBJECTS … THEY WERE VIEWED AS DISPOSABLE CHILDREN."

AUCTIONABLE CHILDREN!!
Young girls "were viewed as disposable people." Epstein files reveal not just crimes, but how elite society actually works
