The Electoral College, along with being a racist construct, also leads to voter apathy. If you don’t live in a swing state, your vote especially for President means very little.
Local elections always matter, but I get why people don’t vote in deep red or deep blue states.

I think I’m up to 3 or 4 people convinced I can’t tell an otter from a beaver.
It’s quite funny. There IS a beaver that lives there and fucks shit up, but you never see him. He’s nocturnal.
They’re also bigger and have different shaped tails. The teeth alone are a clue.
