True ... Icheb didn't deserve the end they gave him either.

I'd have to give it some thought. I just wanted to give my almost time favorite character a better story line than what he was handed ...

I'm not sure what we could do with Icheb ...

... Am I a rambling dork ... yeah, probably, but I also have a favourite character & we both know that with Star Trek magic, nothing is impossible!! We will see you again as Hugh ... I firmly believe it!!

Hugh swings himself off the bio bed ... wobbly at first, but quickly regaining balance.

"Whoa there ... easy!" Geordi tells him, his hands reaching out to steady Hugh's shoulders.

Hugh's face explodes into a smile as he hugs Geordi fiercly. "I've missed you. Thank you, my friend."

... with two of his biggest champions hovering over him as he stabilizes.

In my minds eye, I see Hugh open his eyes & smile, his hand absentmindedly lifting to his neck to find his wound healed.

We hear Crusher tell Hugh, "The xBs sent you here. You're going to be okay."

Once on the Enterprise, he's transferred to sickbay where Geordi & Crusher do what they do best ... work miracles - fixing any damage to your implants & repairing that nasty wound.

Then we can finally get our reunion scene with Geordi when Hugh wakes up on a bio bed in sickbay ... 2/?
