I think Trump will get a frosty reception and there will be many announcements to the press by countries announcing new deals they're signing with other nations - sans USA.

The US under Trump clearly can't be trusted. Moving away so countries can't be rug pulled or bullied is clearly the best option.

If the U.S. is going to pivot from being a "global policeman" to a "territorial expander" (taking Greenland, "running" Venezuela, or pressuring Canada), the military needs to be a unified, unquestioning tool.

If Trump goes in to take Greenland, the whole world changes. The United States will have tried to annex a sovereign territory and NATO ally. No different from Russia trying to take Ukraine.

They (other countries) won't fawn over Trump. That hasn't worked. They'll talk to the press about all their new agreements (that excludes the US), about how they're moving forward with clean energy (that quietly juxtaposes the non future of oil and other fossil fuels that Trump is promoting)
