They tried to axe the auto cup scheme and were forced to backtrack. Now it feels like they’re trying to kill it by raising prices so high that many if not most of us wonder if we should stay on it…

The cup games and - before last season when prices were hiked again - Europa have usually had a different crowd and been more accessible, although less so without the old family packages. But £30 is still too much for league one oppo and won’t sell out at that price. CL prices have shocked people

Obv other issues with Newcastle. But compare spurs charging £30 for midweek v Doncaster, again on top of other games, and v limited concessions, to Newcastle charging £20 for game v us - a prem clash - with a full range of concessions. Everyone at least subliminally knows Spurs is ripping fans off…

I think pricing is the main factor. Villarreal tix were £61 in south lower, with very few cheaper seats available and most a lot more. For most that’s on top of huge price of STs. So when the game is dreadful that exacerbates the feeling of being squeezed and wondering why we’ve forked out so much

Yep - I’ve only seen the first half so far (didn’t have connection to see it live so watching it back now) but we look much livelier and better balanced with Xavi at 10 and I’m so pleased for Tel, who needed that. Kudus works really hard too…
