Transparency also saves time and resources for applicants who can align with the offered compensation, and they don’t need to apply if they can’t afford to take it.

go read ‘show the salary’… in a nutshell

Salary transparency is a critical step toward building fairness, trust, & equity in the workplace. When orgs openly share salary ranges, they reduce gender & racial pay gaps, candidates can make informed decisions & eliminating secrecy that fuels inequity.

The positive thing… things are changing, I link #showTheSalary much less in comments on LinkedIn as pay bands are shared more transparently… but there’s still a lot coming out with nothing an expectation that you state what you think your worth…
