A spotlight on the obscure: Planet Laika from 1999. Co-developed by Quintet and Zeque, it's a surreal psychological horror adventure game with more in common with point 'n' clickers than JRPGs.
A couple of years ago, it received its first full English translation and I dove right in.

I really wish I'll be granted scholarship in Tokyo University or Tokyo Tech but my grades might not be good enough this year since I sent some works after the deadline...
