I genuinely have seen more enthusiastic comments on some pieces after they've been stolen and uploaded to pinterest or tiktok that I find on accident (or are sent to me) than I ever did the original work. If you love it, please let us know! Please!
I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.

Something to remember: ppl who don't draw are often inexperienced in observing and commenting on art. They try to connect w/ it on familiar grounds, which means relating it to something they know and understand.

"Maning up" should be banned. Teenagers have nothing more than emotions to process. They are developing human emotions, and the way you treat them as if their frontal lobe is fully developed is bullshit. Teenagers don't need to "mature" or "man up."
