Most NEXUS card holders are Canadians. And most of them use their NEXUS cards to travel domestically in Canada. Why don't we just set up our own domestic verified traveller program, one that doesn't require us to give our fingerprints and retinal scans to Uncle Sam?

If Canadians, travelling domestically, want to use the "good" security line at the airport, they need a NEXUS card, even if they aren't going to the US. And they need the blessing of Donald Trump's Homeland Security apparatus to get one. I'm calling on Canada to end this absurdity. #Canada #NEXUS

I remember winter ‘99 and I was commuting from Waterloo to Toronto every day. CBC radio had a piece with folks from across the country talking about how Toronto had to call in the Army for snow removal.
