vi is the best editor. The Oxford comma is totally superfluous and does not need to be used in 90% of cases. "Die Hard" is not a Christmas film. "Internet" is a proper noun.
Grok has drawn, well, something. I like the Stonegate, Hipegate, Hayegate, Heyegate, Stonegate region in the north of the map.

Co-pilot is now hallucinating from the previous map with the moors, dales and vale of mowbray being moved into York. The street names are valid(-ish) but are in random locations.

Gemini looks like a map from a TTRPG where we have the island of York. It has included Clifford's Tower and the Shambles. But everything else is random.

ChatGPT has just given up here. We have the Minster and Clifford's Tower. Street names are random, although I like that it's renamed Coppergate as Willygate!

On to York, the prompt was "draw me a map of york labelling the major streets". For comparison, this is from Google maps. I expect to see the Minster, Clifford's Tower, Jorvik and maybe the railway museum. The rivers Ouse and Foss should make sense.

Grok gave me a photo of a map. It has pretty much gone full hatstand with barely anything recognisable. It's not even trying any more.

Co-pilot expands Yorkshire to pretty much the whole of the Danelore with a new capital of Manchesto. It has merged the river Ouse with the other river Ouse. We now have the Yokhire Dales. Lancashire had been replaced with Nothern Ireland!

Gemini has given up and Yorkshire has taken over the whole of England and Wales. Labels are just in random places now. I salute this version of Yorkshire!

chatGPT makes a good go, the shape's okay-ish. York has moved to Leeds. The mountain Whernside is now a river. The Peak District 2,415 fet have been imported from Derbyshire. Things at the edges are going random.

Grok has pretty much given up. London and Birmingham are okay, but everything else has been moved. Glasgow is now in Northern Ireland and Belfast is at the mouth of the Tyne. Ireland has disappeared with the new ocean called "Cardiff". The great sea of "Edihburgh" is to the east.

Co-pilot has started hallucinating too. It gets the sub-countries okay, expect it cannot handle Northern Ireland. France is now Turkey (from the previous map I guess). And York is now the city of Eeds

Gemini is into full on hallucination here. London is in the Highlands, Birmbngom is in Eire. And we have a new capital on the North: Manchestom Tyne!

Let's not forget that the souhern ocean is now south of Ireland.

And chatGPT has started introducing weirdness. It looks okay, but look at Ireland; then notice Cardiff and Plymouth. Paris seems to have been renamed to Southampton!

Grok has pretty much lost at this point. There is so much wrong here. It's also started to really hallucinate names.

Co-pilot. Country shapes are all right-ish (if we ignore the north coast of Africa), but labels have gone totally funky. Russia has become Asia, and what has happened with the UK and Czechia?

Gemini. Oh dear, everything breaks now. The shapes are right, but labels are weird. Spain and the UK are swapped. Iceland in North America. Germany is France. Poland *and* Romania are Germany.

chatGPT. Again, very good. Most places are about right, some errors, but decent

Grok. Grok gives two portratiimages, so I've picked the "best one". Because of the image limits it's very much centred over the Atlantic ocean with most of Asia and Austrailia missing. The labels are all over the shop.

Gemini gives it a fancy border which loses resolution but, well, it messes up the Americas, ignores Europe and merges the Atlantic Ocean and Southern Ocean into the Pacific. I have no idea what Anceria is? 5/n

chatGPT gets it pretty much spot on, Mercator. The continents and oceans are about right, pretty much full marks. 4/n

Lunchtime fix. Original Gameboy belonging to one t'other half's co-workers needed the regulator board changed. One part purchased from Retrosix and 5 minutes soldering and we have a fully working Gameboy once more!

Stupid form requirements n/∞. The application for a UK postal vote: WTF do they need a signature for? Have we dropped back in time to the 90s? There is zero guarantee that my signature will look anything remotely like the last time I used it, which was about 5 years ago.

Seriously Amazon, the recommended size for a T-shirt is based on *other* customer orders?

Co-pilot. Remember kids, don't use LLMs to tell you how to do anything technical.
