Therefore artificially outnumbering public submissions. That's why them and Atlas literally took credit for it. People blame Winston but if that were the case then when Labour governed alone they wouldn't rule it out. It was also more popular than not with the public so that wasn’t the reason either

If anyone questions if David Seymour is a eugenicist, here is a recording of him in 2010 acknowledging the racist and eugenic history of standardised testing and then in 2023 he pushes to make sure all schools have standardised testing. #nzpol

And here is Johan Norberg who writes for the Atlas Network and is the award winner of the Atlas Network's Sir Antony Fisher award showing his disdain for how the Treaty of Waitangi is still used. #nzpol

It's all because of Atlas. Richard Prebble, Roger Douglas, Don Brash, Ruth Richardson, and Alan Gibbs all did a documentary with the Vice President of International Programs at the Atlas Network. #nzpol

Just a reminder that the NACTs new cut back school lunches is run by the Compass Group which also takes part in the oil, gas, mining and military industry, they've also had a long history of scandals and food poisoning #nzpol

David Seymour on the speakers list at the Atlas Network's Liberty Forum in 2020
October 21, 2024 at 9:59 AM
Right wingers try to claim that David Seymour's connection to Atlas Network was only in the past and he isn't connected to them anymore as a politician.

Yet he literally was a speaker at Atlas Network's "most inspirational" forum/dinner in 2020, he is still very much connected to them. #Nzpol

It should be noted that Chris Hipkins was also a trainer in the oil and gas industry.

Explaining why he didn't care much when he cut the transport emissions reform and clean car upgrade scheme. He used the excuse that money was needed yet decided destroying the planet is better than taxing the rich

From the article pointing out that the neoliberalism and avoiding things like wealth tax are a deliberate choice by Labour and National because they both prefer to keep New Zealand neoliberal without good reason
October 14, 2024 at 9:51 PM
Exactly, Labour are neoliberals just like National, and even ex Labour Party members like Quentin Findlay say they are a right wing party nowadays. Nothing "opposition" about being a "nicer National"

NZ Herald reaffirms this. #nzpol

Chris Trotter also writes for a page authored by Don Brash, Bassett, Brash and Hide

He's been a grifter for a while now, I have a feeling he's always been one he helped popularise the racist Māori elite rhetoric, writes/wrote for right wing think tanks like NZCPR, supported the 2007 Tūhoe raids, and even writes for Seymour's old Canadian think-tank FCPP

Wonder if it has something to do with the ACT parties history of being involved in money laundering. #nzpol

Jevons Paradox and the Congo Basin shows why degrowth is the only way to truly stop climate change. Because for all the "green growth, green new deal" the resources used for it (lithium and cobalt) are being extracted from Congo which includes deforesting the largest carbon sink on the planet.

Actors become some of the most horrible and cruel politicians. That includes David Seymour, his first job was as an actor playing a young Sir Edmund Hillary on the TVNZ docudrama "A View From The Top" #nzpol

The paradox of healthcare privatisation and why it's doomed to fail.

Chile tried public-private partnerships (just like National want for NZ) for their healthcare system and now their healthcare system is on the verge of collapse.

From the parliament page in 2007 on how National has long planned to manufacture this by gutting public health and then pushing privatisation of the healthcare system. #nzpol

Labour needs to replace Chris Hipkins as leader if they want to beat National next election, National might be dropping in popularity but Chris Hipkins leadership of Labour is fracturing Labour from the inside with his neoliberalism & reversal of multiple of Labours progressive policies #nzpol

He pretends he had it so hard, yet David Seymour's first job while at school was as an actor for a Sir Edmund Hillary docudrama "A view from the top" if only Hillary knew what kind of a shithead he'd become especially since Hillary was an old Labour Party supporter and the polar opposite of Seymour.
October 1, 2024 at 2:40 AM
David Seymour is a contender too, he thinks "poverty is natural"
October 1, 2024 at 2:22 AM
Yup! His Tutor (Alexander Bickerton) was an avid Kropotkin follower, and Bickerton even started an anarchist community in Wainoni and that had influence on Ernest Rutherford
