Always remember if anything goes wrong in America it's Trump's fault.

If anything goes wrong in Aotearoa it's Luxons fault.

As a leftist I see major parallels between the start of growing fascism in 1900s Germany and the start of growing fascism in NZ, mostly kicked off by the SPD betraying Rosa and Karl using the proto-fascist Friekorps and Labour in the 80s betraying their left-wing factions using proto-fascists ACT

Sneaky politicians get pissy with Waitangi Tribunal.

Remember if a Bill is being discussed in parliament, the Tribunal cannot consider it. #nzpol
Tribunal and Govt play chicken, on high speed collision course
Analysis: An urgent Waitangi Tribunal report finds the Treaty Principles Bill would be 'the worst, most comprehensive breach' of te Tiriti in modern times, writes Jonathan Milne.

I think those contracts can be reversed. Or at least annulled. Just make whatever they’re doing illegal with massive fines. Of course, Labour would need to find a spine.

Also corruption is illegal.
It's just not got strong enough laws around it, which is another thing a Labour/Green/Te Pāti Māori government needs to do.

Made revolving door & other forms of corruption illegal with real consequences & an independent body to chase them up.

Besides their neoliberalism today this is the reason why as a disabled Māori leftist I do not trust Labour & prefer the Greens and TPM, The Red Feds which helped establish Labour were against race mixing. Labour did trade deals with the Nazis, and made a zionist race relations conciliator in the 80s
Enjoy your party that got its start with being against race mixing with Māori, did trade deals with Hitler and are neoliberals today, those rose tinted glasses must be comfortable.

Therefore artificially outnumbering public submissions. That's why them and Atlas literally took credit for it. People blame Winston but if that were the case then when Labour governed alone they wouldn't rule it out. It was also more popular than not with the public so that wasn’t the reason either

Labour could have prevented NACT from stripping our rights by entrenching protections for Māori, trans rights, & the Treaty in law. They could’ve created an independent body for oversight, strengthened anti-discrimination laws. They decided not to cause fear of losing rights wins them votes. #nzpol
This is disgusting. Our NZ right wing government swings between being terrifying and being total garbage.
Talk about the actions of a cowardly government. Rushing through a divisive, toxic legislation not worth the paper it is printed on. Seems like they are scared of the hikoi next week.

Which explains perfectly the approach that Nats now take, getting voters to go against their own interests and lie through their teeth with impunity.
They simply copy the UK Tory and US Republican handbook.

Fun fact statistically Labour voters are twice as likely to be more highly educated than National voters and Greens are a massive 7x more likely to be more highly educated than National voters

Likewise 58% of Greens voters have a bachelor’s degree or higher compared to only 15% of ACT voters #nzpol

If anyone questions if David Seymour is a eugenicist, here is a recording of him in 2010 acknowledging the racist and eugenic history of standardised testing and then in 2023 he pushes to make sure all schools have standardised testing. #nzpol
