Proudly born in Wellington, Aotearoa NZ
You know that country that is always left off world maps
Is Nicola Willis a "turncoat" as she abandons her parties regulatory standards vote and cuddles up to the opposition parties.

Trying to look like it's not her fault.
I didn't know what I was voting for.
What a liar.

I'd love to get a National voter to explain their thinking behind National campaigning to repeal a law they introduced only a week ago.

I'd also get a more coherent answer from banging my head against a brick wall.

media & institutions have let powerful people get away with playing innocent on this for FAR too long - even in instances where they were VERY CLEARLY being creeps. These men never should have been able to operate in an environment where safety for minors was actively undermined

It's now in the court record that powerful people use Snapchat to groom minors, solicit objectionable images & rape children

So do we get to revisit certain MPs playing the "i'm so innocent, Snapchat is just a social app" line? Because that discourse directly led here

Easy.
A capital gains tax, re-nationalised utilities, a publicly owned not for profit supermarket chain, extreme limits on donations to political parties, fully funded health services including dental, and a fuck-ton of public housing.✊
Thanks for asking.🥰

What will encourage NZers to have more babies?
New population data has confirmed that New Zealand will need to rely more on migration to offset an ageing population in the coming decades.

There's a sentence in this article noting that these changes save the government money.
So they're going to proceed despite receiving strong advice about the harms it will cause to already vulnerable populations and the probable *increase* in costs over the long term.

He was making the tea/ coffee for his colleagues

Now he is ready to roll Luxon and burn the local regional councils to the ground.
