We are living in a time where democracy is being tested, and it feels more and more like a fascist state. Something has to change, and we can’t keep pretending everything is normal.

I will always speak out against the injustices my people face, and I don’t care who it offends.
If reading the truth about Black suffering offends you because of your fragility, imagine how Black Americans feel having to live it every day.

It’s what upsets me the most about today’s climate, the blatant racism and discrimination that so many still deny or support, including those in our current administration. It’s sickening to hear the facts from centuries ago and realize that, here we are in 2025, still fighting the same battles.

These opened my eyes even wider to the true history of this country the mistreatment of Black people, the systemic injustices, and the ongoing attempts to erase or ignore the truth.
