I think, I should introduce myself. I am that guy :
Figure from 'The Distributed Nature of Working Memory' showing that brain activity representing stimuli held in working memory can be found all over human and primate cortex.

The IfaDo sessions have become really a community staple and I am very glad to be able to chip in.

A lot of this reads like more text, less reliable content. Shouldn't we go the other direction? So much work gets written but not properly integrated.

What such a journal could do is encourage boring but useful reviews. No new "theories", just prior work listed, compared, and integrated.

I am incredibly excited to catch-up on the latest #workingmemory research and to be amongst the community at WMS; especially as someone who is missing/avoiding US-based conferences (VSS, OPAM, Psychonomics). I will be absolutely ruining my sleep habits to be a part of the fun!

🎉 Our paper "Criterion placement threatens the construct validity of neural measures of consciousness" is now out in eLife! 🎉
TL;DR: Both simulations and empirical data show that you should not post-hoc sort neural data based on subjective measures of consciousness.

One thing that bothers me about all these guys touting masculinity and traditional families is that they’re clearly terrible fathers.

Like I guarantee Musk and Trump have never changed a diaper or given their kids a bath.

And I wouldn’t trust any of these rich dumbasses to install a car seat.
