I never thought he was an asset worth keeping until this season turned for him. If it's $4 Million per season it's a good deal, and always tradable down the line.

As Kenny writes, it helps enforce the narrative that the Jets are patient, and can only compete via draft-and-develop.

“There are many ways we could lose our democracy. But the most worrisome way is through political violence. Because the political violence is what would make the democratic backsliding you’re so used to hearing about irreversible.
America’s new era of violent populism is here
University of Chicago professor Robert Pape examines the troubling rise of domestic political violence and says Trump’s January 6 pardons could be the most consequential decision of his presidency.

Too bad none of the Jets have the courage and confidence to speak about the situation. Sticking to sports is super convenient, especially when hockey is already so White. @NHL needs to do more, but of course it won’t cuz that might hurt their bottom line.

On a familiar place feeling so foreign, and the jarring juxtaposition of covering a hockey game while real-life battles are happening outside.

Introducing the highest U.S. tariffs since the Great Depression, President Trump made a clear promise in the spring: “Jobs and factories will come roaring back into our country.”

They haven’t.
