If Putin steps down and surrenders for war crimes prosecution and Russia surrenders the Kaliningrad Oblast to NATO, then we can consider lifting sanctions.

Also, there needs to be a demilitarized zone, entirely on Russian territory declared neutral for this purpose. And enforceable limits on Russia's military strength, since they're the aggressor. And Ukraine in NATO, of course.

There are two endgames to the AI bubble.
1 - The bubble collapses and the economy is hosed in the short term.
2 - They're actually able to sell AI to other CEOs who then use it to lay off historically unprecedented numbers of workers, obliterating the middle class and hosing the economy for decades.

They've invested tons of money on that stuff. They have to force it on everyone to prop up the illusion that somebody wants it, plus lay off a whole lot of workers they're probably gonna find out they actually need, just to keep up the pretense their investment might still pay off somehow.

Though it would be a significant disadvantage, I think Ukraine and Europe would be able to fight on indefinitely without the US. The concern is that the Trump administration may actively ally themselves with Russia, even if only financially and in international bodies.
