The AFR with the list of 50 richest CEOs in Australia.

Weirdly they are counting unrealised share holdings to determine how rich they are. But the AFR has been telling us that you can't count such things when trying to tax super balances above $3m.

Guess these people aren't really rich at all....

How much coal would the French have to find under the Louvre to destroy it? How much gas would the UK need to find under Stonehenge to knock it down?

Australia must be the richest country in the world willing to destroy its ancient heritage for one more gas project #climate
The Murujuga rock art is one of Australia's most priceless heritage sites.

And it's being slowly destroyed.

If Environment Minister Murray Watt approves the 50 year extension to the North West Shelf, it will be a death sentence for Murujuga.

Reminder.
I don’t reckon we should be letting Michael McCormack forget this article. It wasn’t an off the cuff remark, it was a considered piece for publication in a paper where he was editor and responsible for content quality.

Push for housing in Sydney's east will erase last traces of once-famous Grotta Capri restaurant - ABC News www.abc.net.au/news/2025-05...
This restaurant was once a Sydney institution. It will soon be just a memory
With its oyster shell facade and cave-like interior, the Grotta Capri restaurant in Sydney's east was a nod to its Italian owners and the migrants that shaped modern Australia.
