I was planning to get gas and groceries, but decided to take a short detour inbetween to visit a waterfall. Beautiful weather, and I have the waterfall completely to myself. Peaceful.

Today's baking. My daughter made einkorn FMF chocolate chip cookies. I made a white hard wheat sourdough bread with onion & cheese.
All of it is delicious! All made with fresh milled flour.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.
I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

One is blueberry muffins made with soft white wheat and spelt. The other is a soft sandwich bread made with hard white wheat and einkorn. Both are recipes from Grains in Small Places.

We have a local discount grocery store, an Aldi, Wegmans, and (during summer) farm stands. Now I'm going to try out Azure Standard for bulk grains and beans. My grain mill is out of storage, clean, and ready to mill. 😀
