Especially when it is coupled with him seeming to genuinely believe that his apology is this magic key to healing.
Did Kody Brown actually think the apology tour would in any way help his image? Because I think it had the opposite impact. Because this obsession with getting out the apology without hearing any pushback is not helping the narc allegations.

But beyond that, I don't think it is a coincidence that they chose to enact violence against a US labor rights organizer. Chris Smalls deserves to come home. He deserves justice for the violence enacted on him. He deserves to see his activism at work in all of us.
Chris Smalls, an organizer who has been walking the walk for years and has been a thorn in the side of Bezos, is the only volunteer from the Handala who has been subjected to extreme violenece at the hands of the IOF. The IOF is a white supremacist organization and have made that much very clear.

I cannot emphasize enough how true & real this is.
In almost anywhere on the political spectrum you ID with or major issue, there’s probably a bot/troll operation to encourage your rage and vitriol.
And how/where that rage gets directed, esp understandable rage, is what they are out to influence.

People on this app get really angry every time I point out that social media manipulation is a real phenomenon that we are all stewing in and that’s having real world consequences and I’m sure part of that is engagement farmers who do that manipulation not liking people talking about it
