The government has also announced additional support for the Youth Guarantee. A guarantee that every young person will be offered a college place, an apprenticeship, or tailored job support.

This is not a reflection of talent or effort, but of opportunity.
We know that to reduce educational disadvantage, we need more brilliant teachers entering the classroom and staying there, as well as more resources and funding allocated to schools serving the most disadvantaged communities.
