By militarizing DC and threatening others, Trump is targeting Black-led cities, harassing immigrants, and ignoring an economy that is failing working people.

"'Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?'" by @bdtauthor.bsky.social is essential reading for us all.

Tatum's new book offers university leaders a roadmap to make higher education a force for good, despite all the powers/pressures to do otherwise.

Teaching for Change joined many nonprofit and community partners to the D.C. Mayor condemning support of the federal invasion into D.C.

We demand that political leaders stand with the people and against fascism. #FreeDC always ❤️
Blue graphic with white text that reads: Teaching for Change signed a letter to the D.C. Mayor condemning support of the federal invasion into D.C. We demand that political leaders stand with the people and against fascism. Our Demands to Mayor Bowser: D.C. leaders should not be praising federal intrusion that is terrorizing neighbors. Instead leaders should: 1. Denounce the takeover, 2. Insist on an end to the federal surge 3. Defend residents from abuse by ICE and police, 4. Enforce Sanctuary Values Act.

#tdih 1964 (Freedom Summer) white family in McComb, Miss. hosted two white civil rights workers for brief visit to their home.

Result: they were terrorized, had to leave town.

Goal? Discourage white solidarity with voting rights & Black freedom struggle ⬇️

Do folks know that there are teams of people out in DC EVERY NIGHT until all hours to record what ICE. DHS, MPD etc are doing? I don't think those outside DC know that. They think people are passive or in support. Total lie. There's so much going on here. Hope other cities take tactical note.

A timely conversation and evening, especially as the regime continued it's dismantling of the truth through another attack of the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Actually, Slavery Was Very Bad
The president’s latest criticism of museums is a thinly veiled attempt to erase Black history.
