In 1863 The Evans Brothers got the contract for the furniture in the Ladies Hall of Oberlin college.
If anyone has furniture that at least in families oral history comes from the Ladies Hall., the Wilson Bruce Evans Historical Society would be interested in seeing it.

The cops were so scared of someone wearing an inflatable frog costume that they tried to kill them by spraying a chemical weapon right into their air vent.

There is a later video where the cops apray him directly in the breathing fan hole.

The thing that is clear from Variety piece is she wants to be an on air persona despite having no on air charisma.
Will she get an on air role?
Part of me thinks a middle manager who wants her gone could just give her an on air role to fail in.

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

The photo is of an elderly woman in gray clothes that has been so bizarrely processed that it looks both totally over and desaturated

politics and reporters are so emotionally needy that not able to do that. So hungry for warmth and recognition from powerful that they mistake social skills for moral worth.

The story you hear about Justice Thomas is not only is he the only Justice who actually talks to staff but he goes out of his way to learn your name and names of your family etc. But custodial staff, security etc all understand "fuck that guy, because his politics are awful"

Crazy that people in

Kids graduating from college without knowing how to crank out a mimeograph. What are they going to do when the grid goes down?

Any early silent using this technique?

It is something can’t really be done on stage but feels like storytelling through isolated hand or feet gestures would be a ‘new’ tool of film
