Ooh, interesting move! Flavours ahoy. Haven't been there since forever when Mme had work shouts in the area, looks like a return visit could be on the cards.

Sad to hear several items, including bronze age gold jewellery, have been stolen from St Fagans.

Anyone with information is urged to contact South Wales Police as soon as possible. "Any information, no matter how small, may be relevant to the investigation.”

We thought of you and yours when we heard what had happened. We share the feelings of horror, hope and a profound belief that unity is the way to overcome division.
Our love to you and your family xx

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵

Mr Bites?
Weather's far better for them this morning, thankfully.

Aww, bless him!

(We do here too with a "Cheers Drive" when passing them on the way off).

That is SO cool. And benri desu😁😁

Could watch it for hours. Enjoyed well enough the vintage tractor & kit ploughing the field opposite where we stayed in France but that is a whole other level!

Full of cheer!
The colours are reflective of the zigzag designs in a shop we passed in town yesterday - think it was Lucy & Yak.

Would be itching to cook after a trip like that! Wishing you the happiest of hauls.

More heavy rain than blustery on the way home, the gusts strengthened later. Blue skies & 50+ gusts this morning. Both pastries were excellent but Mme's sweet tooth is with yours!

They're lovely people too.

They made it home through the rain. Curtains pulled, sofa occupied, wine chilling, cats deployed, @pettigrewbakes.bsky.social's legendary laminated pastries at the ready & all feels well in our corner of the world.
