Today's tea: Black Gold Biluochun from TeaRunners. (I'm not sponsored by TeaRunners, but I have a huge backlog of their teas in my cabinet, so I'll be posting quite a few of them.) A nice morning tea. Some astringent top notes on a mellow base. #tea #teasky

Today’s #tea: Iribancha, a very smoky Japanese green tea. Answers the question, “well, what if we just left the leaves on until they burn?” A little lighter than Lapsang Souchong, I think. Bought it from Ippodo’s storefront in NY, which deserves a visit.
