Relieved there were no reports of injuries from the large fire at the Chevron refinery in El Segundo. I expect to see full and robust investigations by state and federal authorities to determine what happened, and to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

LAST MONTH SENATE REPUBLICANS CHANGED THEIR DUMB RULES TO ALLOW A MAJORITY VOTE. Then can do so again.

Republicans control every branch of government. They could stop the shutdown today. Senate GOP can change their stupid rules to go to a majority vote, just like they did to push through Trump’s nominees. The fact that they haven’t done this shows Republicans want the shutdown.

We are in the 21st century. We do have technology that can connect people across the world.
