Fuel economy rollback rulemaking begins, with absolutely bogus cost claims. CAFE standards *save* car owners tons of money, while cutting climate pollution. Oil industry wins, drivers lose. We’ll fight this all the way.
Sean Duffy became DOT secretary today and immediately signed an order for the US to begin process of reducing emissions requirements. The result will be worsening of the climate crisis.

Sen. Tim Kaine tells federal employees to ignore Trump’s offer to quit with pay for months. “Don’t be fooled. He’s tricked hundreds of people with that offer. If you accept that offer and resign he’ll stiff you just like he stiffed the contractors. He doesn’t have any authority to do this.”

By opening up our oceans to more offshore drilling, the Trump administration is threatening the health of our marine life and coastal communities that depend on them. We won’t stop fighting to defend our oceans from greedy Big Oil billionaires.

I know that the current VP said that those who participated in violence on Jan 6 “obviously shouldn’t be pardoned.” But that was a whole TEN days ago! I guess we’re redefining words like “love” and “hostage” now too. Officer Fanone was attacked and tased over and over by thugs now free to buy guns.
