Let's look at the math. Say you have 4 options: 15,30, and two options for 50 year mortgages (one where interest is same as 30, one higher.) Take a look at how much more interest you have to pay with a 50-year mortgage.

The DOJ has filed a statement of interest in opposition to the Proposed Settlement in the NCAA NIL litigation, noting the agreement enshrines for ten years "a facially anticompetitive restraint." (full statement here: www.justice.gov/atr/media/13...)

Amazing. For decades, the NCAA has fought NIL tooth and nail, with their economic "experts" offering myriad specious arguments. Now we have coaches acknowledging that "NIL opportunities are essential for our student athletes to help them succeed on and off the field."
