I completely understand believing the victims first and that generally they won’t be able to recall details. However these inconsistencies were too big to ignore. She literally said she had a whole detailed conversation with someone who was not there. This is so harmful for future victims.
I agree with Buzbee on this one. Victims of SA often struggle with details surrounding their assault bcz it was a traumatic event.
This is esp true for young victims. And in this case the idea of the victim’s dad saving her/picking her up is most likely a coping mechanism stemming from her ptsd.
