Sweden: Telia was the MNO with the lowest share of traffic on 5G in the first half of 2025 after leadership in 2H 2023. Telenor leading, but its network mate Tele2 has a much lower share. '3' second highest.

Putting all Nordic mobile providers into one chart - for mobile consumer satisfaction - shows just how low the satisfaction is with the Swedish main brands. Situation worsened in 2025. But Sweden is also winning - with Vimla and Fello. Data from EPSI/Svenskt kvalitetsindex.

After failed 4th MNO entry, government pressure on prices, and severe security breaches, South Korean 5G usage reaches a new high in August with 33.4 GB per 5G subscription. Never ever has the total mobile data traffic grown faster YoY than it did in August.

We wonder how this new metric, "FTTH % of base" is defined by Telekom/DT, because based on DT's own reporting, FTTH should only be 11.7% of fixed broadband retail base. If we apply your reported FTTH net adds to the base reported in Q1 2024 (1091k), it sums up to 1761k. 16.1% would mean 2431k.

What's this from @telenornorge.bsky.social? Streamix sounds interesting - is it a new launch in today's Capital Market Day? So far, nothing but legal conditions on Telenor Norway's webpage. www.telenor.com/binaries/inv...

The introduction of 5G FWA in fiber-rich France has been a success: Number of subscriptions +25% y-o-y while the FWA traffic +38%.

Q3 is the best FWA net add quarter so far - but, as suggested in the post, Verizon is a bit squeezed by AT&T and T-Mobile. What's not shown is that Verizon does well in business FWA, not so good in consumer. FWA represented 3.6% of Verizon's total mobile service revenue in Q3.

Survey by RTR: Only 58% of Austrian households say they have fixed broadband (and FTTH is overestimated to27% when the correct is 13%). 44% of households use FWA ("Cube").

The mobile data traffic growth in Finland (excl. FWA) was only 1.6% between 1H 2024 and 1H 2025. The fixed data traffic for 1H 2025 isn't reported yet. @traficomfinland.bsky.social

Jio overtook T-Mobile as the operator with the largest FWA base in the world already last quarter. After this quarter, it's no longer questionable. Have in mind that India has 4x the US population and T-Mobile meets more FWA and broadband competition.
