The conundrum of moose. The orange squeaky moose does not squeak, but it’s rubber. Soft brown moose does not squeak, but it is soft and cuddles.
One day, she will be old enough to know that she can have all the move all the time

I read the pattern wrong… then I remembered the U.S. flag code: the flag is not to be inverted “except as a signal of dire distress in instance of extreme danger to life or property.”
Maybe it unconsciously wasn’t a mess up

Started assisted yoga and stretching on Tuesday. I actually had some feeling to my ankles for a good couple hours afterwards. I wish it was possible to go more than twice a month, I really want to gain strength and walk unassisted. But I’m thankful for what I can do

Went to the NC Chinese lantern festival. Notified both my kids are the Ox. But they are so completely different. I just wish I could get the little man to believe that when I tell him…
It was a great time and I hope he will look back and smile on the memories.

I’m still in the grab my moose and snuggle with my blanket state of shock. Every day the US hurts more.

Quick reminder to wear your life vest when swimming. And to remember that service puppies need to go swimming too.

Sometimes I have the most vivid dreams.
Two months ago I saw a friend get married. She was wearing a turquoise and white shawl. Then I saw myself knitting it.
Now I feel that I need to hurry and get the white edging done so that when she is ready for it it will be done. Now I wait

Took my best friend for a ride. She’s my bestie because I don’t have to worry about her hurting me or lying. That’s why I’ll always love dogs more. They know what love is.

Yes. For driving, life, words before they leave your mouth, thoughts in your head, before cutting off a friend, before making a major change before making a rash decision that will change your life forever. Slow down. The world is rush rush and leads to so many mistakes, hurts and disappointment.

My strongest cheese opinion is that cheese makes (almost) everything better.

Breakfast? Cheesy omelet.

Lunch? Salad topped with shredded cheese.

Dinner? Pizza. Pasta. Burgers. Mac and cheese. Baked cheese curry.

Dessert? Cheesecake.

Is it 6am or 6pm? Doesn’t matter. It’s time for cheese. 🧀

The sounds of the marching band rattled my brain yesterday as I was pushed closer and closer to the barrier. But this one moment in time will never come again for either of us. A first for them, growing up. Finding them self. Trying out life

One day I was lucky to see the sheep of the fiber I will knit with. A simple thing I never thought I’d experience which is still bringing me happiness.
