i’ve somehow been blocked by many of the most annoying people on this platform, so i actually miss out on large swaths of the daily discourse automatically with no effort whatsoever, it’s great — highly recommend doing things so that annoying people block you

it's the inside-outside problem:

everyone's got the inside scoop on themselves

and most people are so focused on that they miss other people's hidden foibles

but they compare the two perceptions like they're equivalent and then get confused when they don't square

this week i've had to stuff a bunch of wankers on modlists

otherwise, not much, thanks to said modlists

i've got a lot more capacity to do this than average/new users, so i can only imagine what bsky looks like to them
