"run anything nontrivial as a background task" might work?

it apparently used to be bad at it, but claude has handled background tasks fairly well for me. it can even run a sleep in foreground to check back in later.

(i take it you want more autonomy in its work? i'm still v hands on most days.)

I feel like Steve Ballmer screaming "DEVELOPERS" here, but it really is a big deal. Amateur developer adoption drives user adoption and engagement. Twitter and Reddit both voluntarily gave up that up, in monetizing their APIs.

Bluesky now carries that mandate of heaven, if it can keep it.

huh, weird. labels.bunnynabbit.com doesn't see it but i'm not sure if it would?

at one point there was talk of making takedowns work differently

perhaps this is an early, buggy attempt?

how sure are you that isn't a cached result? decisions do get reversed, and i'm not sure label scanner will handle the delete correctly

a solution that awaits perfect clarity for those folks would wait forever

i think we can muddle along without their input, somehow

yeah something simpler / lower stakes than a labeler report system

some sort of fractional trust / aggregation thing?

idk

weird. it might have to do with how long the session has been running? stopping and then continuing seems to have recovered it? (i swear i tried that before ...)
