Electric Road right of way update: Campaigners are now looking for people aged 55+ who used the Bulstake Path or the Electric Road before 2000, (ideally before 1980), even if they no longer live in Oxford, in order to establish evidence of regular use of the paths for at least 20 years before 2000.
Campaigners are seeking statements from anyone who has walked Electric Road, the path from Osney Mead to South Hinksey. The path is not yet formally a public right of way, meaning access could be withdrawn at any time; the campaign aims to apply for it to become one.

I think a great way to combat phone addiction instead of time limits would be like a bluesky interface that picks out out like 20 posts for you per day that's all you get. Kinda like how the only tik tok I consume is stuff people send me

I spent multiple hours stuck on this god damn eigenfunction expansion problem just to find out it's a worked example in the next section of notes and the part I was stuck on he's just like "oh we've gotta numerically solve that part" which I had considered but I am just too dumb to trust myself

I'm so fucking close to 200,000 ft of vert this year. I feel like I hike a lot but whenever I do the calculations I'm like "I barely hike I could do so much more"
Like the fact that ~20% of the new peaks I've done this year are from 2 days is ridiculous (16/80ish) like I could be more consistent
