The EU just officially removed Orban and Fico's ability to force €210B in Russia's frozen EU assets to be released by vetoing sanctions renewal.
They will now stay frozen and under EU control until after Russia pays post-war reparations to Ukraine, with no further votes needed.

It really feels like we are near the last stop for Europe to fully get on the bus and support UKR to the level to win, not just enough to hold on. With the US being a probable bad faith actor, the EU and European allies need to really get in there and support Ukraine, not to "survive" but to thrive

You have to ask, why was Witkoff chosen for this critically important role of special envoy to Putin? He had no diplomatic or foreign policy experience. No education on those subjects. So of all people, why him? I think what we all surmised is clear - Putin wanted Witkoff.
