An American Tail and its sequel Fievel Goes West, though maybe a little problematic in a few small details here or there (at least by today's standards), are still childhood favorites worth seeing (and they're certainly not offensive like Song of the South, or divisive like Passion of the Christ!).

This recent concept art for my 'Planet of the Toons' epic depicts the Red Gates, which a hostile army marches towards to add to the swelling power of Mandark.

4 years ago today, I began developing my science fiction fantasy action adventure film epic, "Planet of the Toons".
In addition to writing it, I was also developing, even in Photoshop collages, the art of the world, so I can give anyone a visual sense of where my movie could take place.

I came, I saw, and I have watched The Day The Earth Blew Up with Looney Tunes' Porky and Petunia Pig and Daffy Duck on the big screen at the AMC movie theater at Maryland's Annapolis Mall with my mom...and it was a really good animated movie...very good indeed.
