I am always pro making memories but obvi depends on the relationship, but 12 IOU’s for them to cash in 1 each mo throughout the year (ie movie tickets, dinner, a batch of fresh baked cookies, cleaning their kitchen, teaching them a life skill, a ride somewhere… normal things but make it memorable!)

I generally agree with this policy however had an interesting conversation yesterday where this may actually worsen the health of disabled/chronically ill youth (ie long covid) when their only connection to others who understand tend to be online (esp if they have rare conditions). A gap to address!

So glad to see so many disabled residents speaking out against the changes/calling for better mobility plus. Non-disabled locals really have no idea how deeply these changes will impact so I’m relieved at the number of delegations as I wasn’t able.

Celiac is so tough; gluten is in f*cking everything. You also come to realize how many community events revoke around food. BUT once my body healed, I couldn’t get over how many symptoms I experienced I thought were “normal” until the vanished! I hope you feel relief in unexpected ways too! Big love

To me what’s frustrating that the fine is for not paying on GRT is $240. Yet for this it’s just $80 or $100?! The dichotomy is infuriating to me. Perhaps increasing these fees drastically (at minimum to match the GRT fines) could help with our cities budget problems 🙃🥴

Also, we desperately need GRT to add transit options (some extended LRT trains!) for riders on the late train back - apparently there’s nothing around the station that late.

Can you help me understand the proposed Grt bus fare inspectors? How exactly will that help recoup lost revenue when we don’t have open door boarding meaning everyone is required & observed to pay by the driver as they get on the bus? 🧐 I don’t understand the proposition at all?! 🤷🏻♀️

Oh in a case like that, don’t send money back. But the banks & anti fraud agencies recommend autodeposit, as transfers can’t be intercepted/passwords guessed.

I’ve read the opposite? Not having autodeposit makes it more vulnerable to be intercepted by scammers…
