Yep, that's spot on. It's not a lack of access to information, it's tribal loyalty, which has become even more of a factor the more polarized our societies have become.

The Western world needs therapy. It does not know itself. Routinely "appalled" and "concerned" about the war crimes it arms, pays for, and covers up politically. It asks us to sever ourselves from reality in order to cope. On an individual level, this is unhealthy. On a societal level, it's suicidal

Find it helps a li'l knowing many are fake. 1000s of fake accounts can swarm at posts using key words like vaccines/climate. They're there to make it feel like we're in the minority, muddy the information and unfortunately it's effective, but many are not genuine pple
