The LGBTQ+ affirming Catholic church I go to is filled with generous folks. There's a whole table of religious pamphlets, prayer cards, rosaries [from me] and sometimes even small devotional items and holy medals.

I've got a lifetime of quilts, and they're all sitting in old steamer trunks. In an effort to share them, I'm reworking them. Upcycle?
This vest was a quilt a few days ago. The edge binding was also the original quilt binding. The leather buttons are also handmade.
Thoughts welcome.

We made a batch of chicken soup/broth from a leftover rotisserie chicken so we gave some to our neighbor. She can split it into two servings with two different types of noodles.
'Kapwa' is being mindful of others besides yourself, like your neighbors & friends.

As I get older I am reminded why I don't really want to be part of Neo-Pagan/Witch groups anymore. My husband experienced it years ago & it was all b/s & it's looks to be the same now.
He still did his thing & is perfectly fine in his practice w/o those groups of people.

Why is it for a Witch/practitioner like myself who studied/learned via dial-up internet and limited Llewellyn books from Buck-a-Book, I know more information than younger practitioners who have all the information under their fingertips in their pockets. 1/

I sent a penpal packages last month to a penpal I've lost in touch with when I left IG.I found his address on a post it note that I used as a bookmark so I sent him a few items.In return he sent me a few devotional items & a book.We have to find & share the light especially during times of darkness.

It's kind of hard to tell, but I hand polished one of these lead-free pewter Folk Crucifixes. Pewter and nickel dulls when exposed after awhile, but you can always run them through a rouge/polishing cloth to bring their shine back.
Plus daily touching/use will keep their shine in the long run.
