Farewell to CBS News and "60 Minutes." It just went the way of the Washington Post's editorial page

Once you begin surrendering to Trump, he always wants more. You can’t appease a tyrant. Some thoughts...

Son of a b%&ch, this happened in my backyard.
ICYMI — “I identified myself as a U.S. citizen and a veteran, but that didn't matter. ICE Agents smashed my window, sprayed tear gas and pepper spray into my car, dragged me out… this experience violated the very principles I fought to defend.”

‪ I use to like the saying "I love my country but fear my government.‬" It is time to reexamine what that means to me. I love the ideals of my country that everyone is equal in the eyes of the law.

This sounds like you’re going to give those big overripe corporations a squeeze with code and regulation enforcement.

Hmmm 🤔, okay could you break out the white board to explain it?
The letters and calls we answered, the oversight of the Big Banks we conducted, that connected Californians with the assistance they were owed.

That’ll be the approach I take as Governor — one where the government does its job, not just a victory lap when a law passes.

Really interesting when you think about the Republican talking points about how manufacturing is coming back.
After watch this, I wonder how it could come back if we don’t have the schools or programs to educate the next generation.

I wonder she or anyone on her them not read these comments to see if actual conversations and questions are in here?

I support her and have contributed to the fund, because I honestly believe that she has the knowledge and skills to combat California’s biggest and longest problem.

Rent and Housing
When I first ran for Congress and made housing part of my campaign, people told me: "Housing isn’t the government's problem."

Bullshit. High costs and homelessness aren't inevitable. They are a direct result of our policy choices.

Let's build more, and build fast.

As for Trump and MAGA Mike?

They bury receipts.

I’m here to dig them up, expose them, and play the “on repeat” for the people. Receipts on Repeat.

“Other People. About Other People.”

No slogans, that is our North Star. No promises on this campaign. Only deposits.

I appreciate your questions.

Layoffs have hit over 1.1M so far this year — the most since the pandemic.

Yet corporate profits continue to hit record highs, with corporations increasingly spending those earnings on stock buybacks to enrich execs and shareholders.

This is what a rigged economy looks like.

Yes, I want to oppose Trump and all his racist misogyny bigot views.
However he is only the infected festering anal cyst head of the problem.
There is a whole support system that not only got him in power but continues to abuse their positions for their and their donors benefit.

MORE Breaking on MS NOW: Pete Hegseth refused an interview request for the Pentagon Inspector General's investigation into Signalgate, according to two sources who read and were briefed on report.

Hegseth would not turn over his phone, a source who read the report told MS NOW.
Breaking on MS NOW: The Signalgate report contradicts Pete Hegseth's claims he did nothing wrong. It shows he "violated policy by using a non-approved device," a source who read the report says.

Hegseth failed to preserve records. The report says he put the operations and service people at risk.

If elected how do you plan to keep corporations like Zillow and AirB&B from buying up properties of single family homes?
What can the state do to ensure that not only that there are enough housing for first time homeowners, but also protect renters from price gouging?

Yes, rent is huge issue I have with my beloved state.
In 1994 a 3 bedroom 2-1/2 bath in Santa Paula, Ventura County was $900/month. That same property is now over $3k/month in a city that is less than 35k.
How do you plan to address cost of living in CA as governor?
California is in a cost crisis. In the Inland Empire, and across the state, people are barely making ends meet.

Making California more affordable is my top priority as Governor.
