Spent the last day of my vacation with my 4 year old. She never gets time with just me, so we spent the day shopping, going to brunch, having spontaneous dance parties, and playing with Lego.

Today, back at it.

Downtime is important, even when you're not currently employed - maybe more so.

My daughter just came home from her daycare and was super excited to show me the star they made at school today for all the kids to wear:

Having a charcuterie picnic on our bed with the kiddos while they watch Super kitties, so my wife and I can do some laundry. It's ok to be envious.
