The EMS Foundation worked tirelessly for years with the Pro Elephant Network negotiating Duma’s freedom, with @fourpawsint.bsky.social we successfully evacuated Duma from the zoo and transported him to his new life.

Duma an African bull elephant who was previously captive for four decades in a circus and then a zoo. The EMS Foundation and Shambala Private Game Reserve with the assistance of their colleagues Four Paws International, We Wild Africa, Conservation Solutions and Provet evacuated him to freedom.

The Wildlife Animal Protection Forum of South Africa strongly believe that Botswana is one of the last places on earth where wildlife, especially elephants, exist in large numbers, and therefore we believe that Botswana should be preserved as a non-trophy hunting area. wapfsa.org/wapfsa-welco...
